We are looking for a Payroll Administrator for a fixed term contract for an Engineering client in Leeds.

Immediate starts available (Subject to the interview process)

This is a fixed term contract until December based on a salary of £34,700 per annum.

This does have to potential to go permanent (not guaranteed).

This will be working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Duties will include but are not limited to: -

* Calculating and processing accurate weekly, 4 weekly and monthly payments to employees by electronic transfer, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
* Making manual payroll adjustments, as and when necessary.
* Setting up new employees on time management/payroll systems and processing leavers.
* Ensuring payroll information systems are set up and updated to reflect current employee base.
* Generating relevant payroll paperwork, i.e. payslips P45s and P60s.
* Dealing with both face to face and telephone enquiries for basic time management/payroll related issues, with a view to resolving any queries quickly and effectively.
* Providing admin support for the processing of the Work-Place Pension Scheme, as well as the Company pension scheme
* Experience in Mitrefinch and One Advanced would be advantageous.
