We are looking for General Operatives to join our client who are based in Barnsley.
These are permanent positions.
Rate of pay is £12.42 per hour.
In this role, you will ensure that all products entering and leaving our client's site, meeting high-quality standards and customer specifications, while strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures.
This will suit applicants who come from an engineering background.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility.
* Work efficiently to meet strict company deadlines and targets.
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
* Follow production schedules to achieve dispatch target dates.
* Operate electrical grinding tools and automated lifting equipment safely.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are used correctly and safely.
* Always Wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Perform various labouring duties around the facility.
* Inspect all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Consistently adhere to HSE and company policies.
* Take on additional duties as required to support the team.
