Experienced Electrical Design Estimator required for a major PLC electrical temporary site services and building services company based out of their head office in Basingstoke.
Temporary Services experience preferable, or some knowledge desirable
£55,000pa (Plus Car)
THE ROLE:
Preparation of tender/pre-tender documentation for submission to client
Interpret client scope and design project to specification
Attend post-tender meetings, negotiate realistic adjustments to submission
Negotiate agreement of contract award
Maintain regular client contact to build on long term relationships
Continue to remain involved with the project at handover to operations
Strive to improve the quality of service provided to the Company's customers by identifying and proposing developments and amendments to systems used
Take responsibility for own personal health and safety and impact on the environment
The Estimator will join the Estimating team to aid in their continued expansion. The right candidate needs to be driven, self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative when under pressure whilst also being a positive collaborator within a tight team.
The candidate will be required to attend external site visits with clients, suppliers & subcontractors and reflect a positive professional image as well as the confidence to clarify bids with their clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design of projects to be submitted at tender/pre-tender stage
Liaison with client on post tender submissions
Development of business and building on client relationships
