Quick-fire Q&A - Keely Hoff

This week we’re talking to Keely Hoff, our HR & Compliance Manager. Keely ensures that our business remains at the forefront of any changes in legislation and practice alongside managing internal Human Resourcing.

1. What was your first ever job?

I used to work in the post room at Irwin Mitchell.

2. How long have you been in recruitment?

I entered recruitment (and Dutton) 22 years ago!

3. What's your favourite thing about HR?

No two days are the same, regular legislation changes certainly keep me on my toes!

4. ...and your least favourite thing?

Having to make tough decisions.

5. What made you want to join Dutton Recruitment?

A careers advisor recommended the company to me, and I’ve never looked back.

6. What's something you can't live without at work?

Pork pie for breakfast (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!) then chocolate in the afternoon.

7. Tea or Coffee?

Coffee!

8. What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?

Spending time with my family.

9. What is your main goal at Dutton Recruitment?

As long as I continue to enjoy my work, I’m happy!

10. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

Anywhere hot and sunny – it’s dark by 4pm so to see daylight would be nice…
