Quick-fire Q&A - Ajay Bhatoa

This week we’re talking to Ajay Bhatoa who was recently promoted to Assistant Manager of our West Yorkshire branch. His main role is to develop key opportunities in the region for our Nursing & Medical division while maintaining our excellent reputation for great customer service. He’s also heavily involved in the day to day operations of the branch.
What was your first ever job?
Working for Next as a Christmas Temp. This actually turned into a 5-year stint as I was promoted to Team Coach where I trained new starters.
How long have you been in recruitment?
5 years.. with many more to come!!!
What's your favourite thing about the industry?
No day is ever the same... it keeps me on my toes!
...and your least favourite thing?
Last minute shift cancelations…
What made you want to join Dutton Recruitment?
I wanted to join Dutton because I was always hearing about the buzz the company was making within the Industry and wanted to be part of the growth and success of the business. It was definitely the best career decision I have made!
What's something you can't live without at work?
My phone!!
Tea or Coffee?
Chamomile tea.
What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?
Working out at the gym, it helps with the day to day stresses of recruitment.
What is your main goal at Dutton Recruitment?
To continue to grow with the company and see our division flourish into something even greater than it already is!
If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
New York – This time of year it reminds of one of my favourite childhood movies; Home Alone! Although, I don’t think I’d be up for all the drama Kevin had to deal with…
