European Spotlight: Elsloo
29th August 2019
With our rapid European growth and expansion, we wanted to shed some light on projects that have got us to this point and ones that are keeping us busy currently.
For our first post of the series we’ve focussed on a project that’s happening in real-time, with personnel travelling out to site at the end of the week.
Due to the technical nature of engineering projects, ensuring all personnel hold the necessary qualifications and comply with regulations is crucial to the success and safety of the work.
This fundamental aspect of our recruitment solution will be the focus of this post.
This week we’re in Elsloo, Holland.
For this project our client required the sourcing of 14 highly skilled Valve Technicians as soon as possible for a mix of workshop, site inspection and maintenance of various valves.
The first stage in achieving this was to gather the most suitable personnel for the project by utilising our experienced and diverse candidate pool, built over 35 years of engineering recruitment services. We then put selective candidates through a thorough vetting process to ensure they were perfect for the project.
Alongside this, we needed to organise a bespoke training programme via our contacts in Rotterdam to ensure that all personnel hold a VCA safety card, a necessity for site work in Holland.
To ensure this training will be completed in time we arranged for revision packs to be made in English for everyone to read ahead of time, and are flying all personnel out in advance.
This means that all staff will have gained their safety cards and be ready for the client’s on-site induction on Monday.
Throughout this organisation and the project itself, our experienced consultant remains the key point of contact for all personnel, allowing our client peace of mind and maximum communication throughout.
And the best part? Thanks to our skilled teams and key contacts, the turnaround for this project is nice and quick. From being given the brief to arranging bespoke training, all preparations have been completed within a week – ready for all staff to be on-site this Monday morning.
Project success and a happy client!
