Dutton Recruitment at the Recruitment International Awards!

On Thursday 2nd November Dutton Recruitment attended the Recruitment International awards at the Guildhall in London. We were overjoyed to be nominated for the ‘Growth Company of the Year’ and ‘Best Company to Work For’ awards. These are both areas that we pride ourselves on at Dutton Recruitment – the work ethic and healthy working environment that makes us who we are, and the incredible levels of growth we have achieved in recent years.
The Black-Tie dinner was attended by Adam Sheekey (CEO), Rob Stepney (CFO), Alex Myers (Group Marketing Executive) and Dan Bascombe (Assistant Management Accountant).
It was a fantastic event, bringing together Recruiters from throughout the UK and a variety of specialist Industries. The event was also full of inspirational stories, not least from the variety of guest speakers.
One of the speakers was Esther O’Callaghan OBE, the Founder of the OPERA – a charity which aims to assist 16-24 year olds in getting into work. They achieve this through funding certain things that are necessary to get into employment, which many of us take for granted. We learned that 86% of young people who receive their help go on to stay in work – something that truly inspired us. Due to this, we will be working with this charity closely in the future, so keep an eye out for more details on that!
Sadly, we missed out on going home with the awards, however the evening was an excellent experience and we gained a lot from it. We would like to thank Recruitment International for organising a fantastic evening, and all of our staff for the incredible work they have put in throughout 2017.
