Building for the future!
12th April 2017
Our first annual trainee recruitment consultant open day of 2017 was held in Sheffield yesterday. Hosted and delivered by James Turner and Max Pemberton and supported by Adam Sheekey, Dutton CEO, a warm welcome was given to seven budding trainee recruitment consultants. It was a fun and constructive day with an overview of the recruitment industry in 2017, what the future of recruitment may look like and the useful role recruitment consultancies play in the modern economy. The group was encouraged to participate in various ice breaker activities, real time typical recruitment exercises and a Dutton favourite in Dutton’s Den.
James commented "It was a pleasure to work with enthusiastic people who want to get on in life and build a successful career". Max added "he was impressed with the event and he himself had learnt a lot from the experience."
We have taken a proactive approach to reaching out and encouraging people to think about recruitment as a career choice and all the amazing skills you can learn. We believe in getting out there and working and delivering a useful and interactive experience to secure the right talent and build up skilled consultants ready to face the future in the recruitment industry. We encourage innovation in our people and this starts from day one.
The day was a huge success and the feedback from candidates was more than complimentary with attendees noting the interactive, informative content and real time exercises giving them a 'real' insight in to the industry.
